Family Nurse Practitioner

Physician


Examines and treats members of family, regardless of age or sex. Ensures proper injury care and disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Prescribes and administers medications, performs routine vaccinations, and provides advice regarding personal health and hygiene. Requests necessary tests and follow-up visits and refers patients to specialists, as necessary. Requires a degree in medicine from an accredited school and is licensed to practice. May require at least 2-4 years of experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May report to a medical director. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

Certified Medical Assistant


The Certified Medical Assistant (MA) has duties and responsibilities related to patient care in the outpatient clinic environment. The individual displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions as a member of the healthcare team. The CMA functions under the direct supervision and authority of the physician when performing clinical tasks during patient care. The CMA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care. The CMA maintains an inventory of examination/procedure room supplies, assists in the organization of efficient patient flow, and organizes the clinic environment to assure patient safety. The CMA demonstrates problem-solving skills as they relate to patient care activities, provides guidance for and acts as a role model for Medical Assistants in the clinical environment.

Center Administrator


Responsible for daily operations of entire center. Oversees patient care and evaluates and suggests improvements to better meet patient needs. Recruits, selects and assigns all professional, technical and support personnel. Supervises all personnel: ensures the proper application of standard operating procedures, appropriate training, and implementation of corrective performance actions as necessary. Responsible for fiscal management: accounts receivable, all Medicaid/Medicare metrics, budget, billing, monthly reporting, and purchasing. Coordinates all staff meetings for professional, technical, and support staff departments. Provides continuous analysis of all operational activities and practice development. Works with physicians and staff to ensure appropriate center operation and rapport with patients, community, and industry professionals. Participates with case management to help ensure proper compliance of timelines and policies. Other duties as assigned.
